Hotel Benito, HK

"Just take the A21 bus from the airport and get off the Tsimshatsui bus stop by the Miramar Shopping Center. Walk towards Cameron Road (a Mosque is right across the street, you won't get lost) then turn left and walk again for about 2 minutes and you will see a huge Hotel Benito signage right beside Burger King."

That's what I tell my friends and colleagues who make the right choice of booking with Hotel Benito whenever they go to Hongkong (taking the Airport Express is an entirely different story of course). 

Just how great of a choice it is?

For starters, the MTR is literally just around the corner. In Hongkong where a lot of walking is required, proximity to all modes of public transportation is essential --  you can save a lot of energy, time and money. Not just that, since Hotel Benito is located along Cameron Road in Tsimshatsui, shops are everywhere! From food to cosmetics and toiletries to clothes, shoes and bags -- everything is just one step/corner/turn away.

Anyone who is smart enough to stay in the hotel knows how clean and comfortable the rooms are, how efficient the hot water is (thank God!), how competent the staff are and just how beautiful the hotel is.

This is the place we called home during our stay in Hongkong.

I was fortunate enough to stay in one of the family rooms back in 2010. This room can accommodate up to six adults.

A barely new place called Dessert Playground was our latest discovery during this trip. We got curious with the long queue from afar, so we decided to check what the fuss was all about. And there it was. Beautiful mango roses on top of layered thin and creamy crepes displayed right before my eyes. Since it was quite impossible to get a table right away, we just ordered to go.
