Transit in Kuala Lumpur

Its my second time to Kuala Lumpur but no more tours this trip. DB and I flew to Malaysia's capital to catch our Air Asia flight to the Land of the Lost Temples. Since AK's flight to Siem Reap is 0700H and there's no flight out Manila that connects, we were left with no choice but to stay a night in KL. We booked ourselves to the nearest hotel in the airport, Tune Hotel, so we don't need to hurry the morning of our flight.

Just a 10-minute walk from the LCCT Airport (or you can take the shuttle for
MYR1.00 if you don't feel like walking) is Air Asia's budget hotel.

We paid around Php3100 for an overnight stay (including the 12-hour air conditioning) which was quite expensive for a budget hotel. What made it even worse is seeing how teeny tiny our room was, the one hour bus trip to KL's Sentral seemed to be worth it.

Its so small it felt like sleeping in a box.  I can't
even hide my foot in the picture!

A ceiling fan is available if you don't want to pay extra for the air conditioning.

Add-on include:

12-hour Air Conditioning - MYR13.62
24-hour Air Conditioning - MYR21.20
Tower Rental and Other Toiletries - MYR5.30
Wireless Internet Access for 24 hours - MYR12.00
Hair Dryer for 24 hours - MYR1.00
Breakfast Set - MYR6.00
Tune Hotel Insurance - MYR5.00

The bathroom with (barely) hot and cold shower.

The view from outside the room.
